Children's Museum

One of the days we were on vacation, it was predicted that it was going to rain. We decided to go to a children's museum, not too far away. It was in a mall so honestly, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. We have one in a nearby town (well an hour away but you know how that goes, anything worth going to around here is about an hour away.) But anyway, the one closest to where we live is kinda cute, some things for older kids and some for younger. This one I think was really geared towards younger kids. There was A LOT to see and do there, we didn't even see half of it.

Van pretty much parked himself in this truck area which isn't much of a surprise. Adam and I went to a bunch of little areas. I really liked how they had all the outfits to go with the job. You can see him dressed in the 'car assembly' gear, the doctor, and the dentist. He also had the fireman's outfit on, the boots came above his knees so he couldn't even walk, it was funny. There was a post office, a grocery store, a music area, and much much more. Maybe we will go again next year and stay a little longer. We had to leave for lunch and then Van had one of his meltdowns so that was pretty much it for the museum. It was a very nice activity for a rainy day though.
